Run and Done

The 2016 Long Distance Pursuit was postponed a day this year due to light to non-existent breezes. On Sunday, with rain clouds on horizon, the first group of boats started at noon. The rain brought wind and then took it away. The Blade started nearly an hour after the non-spin monohull group and was caught by the doldrums immediately after rounding Coal Point. A new wind did come in and all boats were able to sail home without going over the time limit.
Sean Stevenson sailing a borrowed Super Megabyte was first to cross the finish line and he retained the first position after the handicaps were applied.
