Our Facility
The Wabamun Sailing Club is set on 2 acres of lakefront at Rich’s Point on Lake Wabamun, just 60 kms west of Edmonton. A fully modernized 2 story clubhouse is complete with kitchen, dining, lounging, meeting space and accessible washrooms. Amazing lake vistas can be enjoyed from the ground level deck or the 2nd storey clubhouse deck.
The boathouse provides storage space for Club safety boats as well as a workspace for grounds and facility maintenance. A locker storage area for member sailing gear is also located in the boathouse.
Three Boston Whalers and a Barge provide race management and on the water safety for members and occasionally for the general public. Members have easy access to ramps and boat launching from the designated boat storage area on the grounds.
The Dick and Jean Harper Tenting area provides overnight camping space for members and regatta competitors.
Twenty two allocated RV stalls on the grounds are rented annually to members.
The Village of Wabamun, just 4 km east of the Club, has a grocery store, liquor store, a Home Hardware, a Marina, and a spray park for the children.
The Wabamun Lake Provincial Park is located 10 km east of the Club.
