The Danny Sorochan Junior Sailing Fund was started by Danny Sorochan, a founding member of the Club in 1990. The purpose of the fund is to support Youth Sailing programs at the Wabamun Sailing Club.
In 2016, an endowment fund was created at the Edmonton Community Foundation to continue Danny’s legacy by accepting and managing the donation funds for the Club. Charitable donation receipts are issued for all donations over $20.
